Meet the Team
Lone Mountain Contracting started 1973 Specializing in US Government contracts, working with the Department of Defense, U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Energy, Corps of Engineers, BIA, U.S. Marines and the US Army. This work brought to our team the art of negotiation, value engineering, job scheduling and extensive job specific training.
Our Mission at Lone Mountain Contracting is to serve our customers by providing construction projects that add exceptional value. By focusing on our customers and our employees, we will provide opportunities to give back to the communities in which we work.
LMC is a locally approved contractor serving NM schools through Cooperative Educational Services (CES). We provide all types of services and materials such as natural & synthetic fields, running tracks and tennis court installations, field lighting, playground install, landscaping, paving and general construction.
Founder James "Nick" Blea
Nick Blea started the business in Las Vegas, Nevada and expanded to New Mexico. He relocated his entire operation to the current site in Bosque Farms, New Mexico, in 1980. He has extensive experience as a general contractor in all phases of construction which includes the management of the business, project management, and job estimating. He has built LMC with a varied amount of general construction work which includes experience in commercial building construction, residential construction, single family dwellings, remodeling, water tank installation and rehabilitation as well as roofing, landscaping, tracks, tennis courts, and athletic fields.
